What Could Cause Brown Vaginal Discharge After Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?

This is awkward for me but my boyfriend fingered me the past 2 days (I’m a virgin) and since I have had brown blood like discharge coming out for the past day and my period ended about a week ago. I’m confused as to if my period is starting again or what’s going on?

Hello,

Minimal bleeding can occur in some people after their first contact as the thin skin flap called hymen stretches or tears during intercourse. It usually lasts for a day or two. It is common and you need not be concerned. Vaginal dryness can also cause such issues. Friction can easily cause abrasion and minor tears that can cause bleeding.
If the bleeding is very and persisting or accompanied with fever or pain please do not hesitate to consult a healthcare provider. Stay well hydrated, use lubricants, avoid aggressive sexual acts and use protection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
