What Could Be The Reasons For Vomiting, Diarrhea, Abdominal Pain And Watery Mouth?

About 2 weeks ago I was sick vomiting and diarrhea. I have been very tired and I still have some abdominal pain, it feels as though something is in my tummy. Today my mouth is watering like crazy and my taste hasn t been the same since I was sick. What could this be?

Hi,

Vomiting and diarrhea for 2 weeks is indicative of gastroenteritis. Hence I would advise you the following: Get the stool and blood tests. Ultrasongorpahy and X-rays of abdomen. If there is any intestinal infection a course of an antibiotic, Metronidazole and probiotics will help you the most.

Also take a PPI like Pantoprazole and Domperidone for vomiting control.Watering of mouth is usually secondary to abdominal condition. Hence will get resolved once the original problem gets under control.
