Hi and welcome to HCM,
The common reasons for diarrhea are infection by bacteria that causes of most type of food poisoning, food that upset digestive system, medications.
Diarrhea may also follow constipation, especially for people who have irritable bowel syndrome.

Consumption of alcohol, highly spicy foods intake, irregular food habits also predispose to acidity. Normal protective lining of stomach and duodenum is damaged it leads to gastric ulcer. Sometimes tumors in the pancreas or duodenum stimulates to produce large amount of acid.
