What Could Be The Reason For Having Shooting Pain From Bottom Jaw To The Top Of Head?

My mom will be 91 in a few weeks and a few days ago she started with an intermediate shooting type pain from her bottom jaw to the top of her head, it has gotten more severe, she spoke to th covering physician and she thought of shingles, what are your thoughts?

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be due to any infection of any tooth let her do a check up with dentist and do iopar if required and take a course f antibiotics and analgesics.. if it persists plz consult a neurologist/internal medicine if its shingles...hp it helps,,, take care
