What Could Be The Reason For Having Recurring Bump On Top Right Side Of Face?

Hi My name is Cynthia Mitchell and I have this bump that appears on the top right side of my face. Its disappears within an hour or so, and the re-appears another time in the same exact spot. Not all the time but once in a while, possibly a couple of times a month.

Hi Cynthia,

There can be multiple causes of the recurring bump on top right side of face.

You have not mentioned your age, occupation and related history of pain, itching or burning or any other symptom in the same so that it may have guided us better.

It would be better if you can send us a picture along with relevant details of the bump.

It can be part of simple urticaria which is localized and recurring at the site.

You can take antihistamine such as loratadine or cetrizine tablet once daily for 2 weeks and check out for recurrence.
