What Could Be The Reason For Having Pain In My Arm Muscles?

I am 78 years old and have recently developed extreme pain in the muscles of my upper arms (both arms). My doctor has prescribed Brufan retard 800mg but it seems to make little difference in relieving the pain. The pain is quite bearable during the day but is extreme at night makes sleeping very difficult. Any ideas?

Hi,

It seems that the pain is muscular in origin as it is relieved with Brufan intake.

You can continue taking Brufan for a few more days until improvement. I also prescribe shots of vit.B complex to my patients for at least 5 days, and then, can continue with oral intake.

Conducting a healthy diet and lifestyle and physiotherapy can also help improve pain.

Wish fast recovery!
