What Could Be The Reason For Experiencing Burning Sensation On My Big Toe?

I've been experiencing burning sensation on my big toe for months now. Recently completed an MRI and indicated possible 2mm nodular neuroma. Now on the other foot my big toe has a slight tingling sensation (no burning) when flicked or walking (especially when my back hurts). Could that be a neuroma too? All of these problems came about after hurting my back a few months prior.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Low back pain and tingling sensation in toe could be due to nerve compression at lumber spine.
For this condition you have to do stretching & strengthening exercises in which you have to stretch tight muscle & strengthen weakened ones which will alleviate stress on facet joint and disc.
Meanwhile for pain control take anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
