What Could Be Causing Bloodshot Eyes In The Morning?
I have trouble with very bloodshot eyes. Through process of elimination, I think it may be caused by an allergy to corn. I already know that I am allergic to wheat which causes me headaches. Is it possible that my body is reacting differently to corn by enlarging the blood vessels in my eyes. The problem occurs if I wear glasses or contacts. When I first get up in the morning, my eyes are fine - none to minimal redness. By 9am they look terrible. I have an appointment with my optomotrist tomorrow but thought I would ask the question.
