What Could Be Cause Of Recurring Chest Pain, Tightness After Pacemaker Implant On Same Side?

Ever since I had a pacemaker implanted I have recurring chest pain along the implant site and tightness along the implant site and shortness of breath,.doing simple things such as changing the sheets on the bed. Have had a stress test on July 1 and an echo cardiogram both good.

Dear patient,

Thanks for the query. I would check the setting and function of the device to make sure it is working appropiately. It would be reasonable to do an exercise cardiopulmonary treadmill test, which can tell you if there is a heart or lung limitation to your activity. Sometimes, we detect that the pacing frequency is set "too low" for your activity requirements
