What Causes White Spots Blotchy Red Cheeks In A Child?

My 6 year old daughter just developed bright red checks that are hot in temp. There are a few white spots. Very blotchy. No fever. This is the 2 nd day. I thought maybe getting sick, maybe dry skin but know I think it s a rash. No changes in foods, soaps, detergents. Should I take her to dr?

Hi,

It may be sort of allergy in the form of urticaria. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. A short course of oral steroid in tapering dose and antihistamines in proper dose may improve the condition. Avoid the suspected allergic food stuffs in diet.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
