What Causes Weight And Hair Loss?

Dear doc, i am 38 years old working lady. i am presently 60 kgs and my height is 156 cms. For the past 2 months my weight has reduced from 85 kgs to 60 kgs without any extra physical activity. along with this i am experiencing loss of hair. my HB is 5.7 and billuriben is 2.0. My packed cell vol.,MCH and MCV is low and RDW is HIGH. All other medical tests related to haematology are normal. Ineither take hard drinks nor smoke. People are suspecting haemolythic jaundice. please advice.

Do you have other signs?
You have anemia microcitic hypocromic, so you need to do a sideremia and ferritinemia, to see if you have ferrioefficiency anemia. If anemia ferrodeciciency is excluded you need to do a Hb electophoresis.
