What Causes Watery Stool With Stomach Pain?

I am having very bad watery diarrhea. It happens at least 7 times a day and has been going on for 4 days now. On top of that I am having severe stomach pain. I can't hold much food down. Thankfully I haven't thrown up. I have been keeping hydrated. I have not traveled recently or started any antibiotics (or even on any). I am curious if this is just the typical stomach flu I am battling or something more serious? I

gastrointestinal viral infections can last anywhere from 7-14 days. If you are having that many bowel movements and not taking much oral nutrition, a big concern for dehydration is present. make sure you are taking enough fluids. There is possibility of your stool being infected , if it persists past 7 days with that many bowel movements, I would seek medical advice at family doctor.
