Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been noticing some strange occurances lately. while playing softball a week ago i dropped 4 routine fly balls, balls that were always caught in the past, This week I only dropped 1, i sprinted maybe 20-30 yards while looking up as i got underneath it i got kind of a vertigo feeling, It didn t last but a couple seconds as the ball glanced off the side of my glove in foul territory. Should i be concerned with this.
Sudden onset of vertigo while playing indicates transient ischemia and requires evaluation. Hence it should not be ignored and evaluated by your doctor preferably by a general physician to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
