What Causes Vaginal Discomfort And Bleeding After Intercourse?

after 3 months of marriage and regluar intercoure still i am suffering from little bleeding after sex and walls along my vagina has swollen up thus i feel times that some weight islying there and always feel like sensation there ...after going to gynae she suggested me FOLEOVIT -vaginal to practice for 6 days ,kindly suggest me the reason for this as i am very much worried

Thanks for letting us know your health concern. There are a few facts that could be influencing the situation leading to the post-coital bleeding. 1. rough intercourse can cause edema of the walls of the vagina and excoriation leading to the bleeding. 2. local causes like an erosion of the cervix, infections of the vagina and cervix, polyps of the cervix and the endometrium are also responsible for such bleeding. 3. Incompatibility of the size of the genital organs of the male and the female. If the male organ is larger as compared to the vaginal canal, bleeding may arise due to trauma. 4. Thick hymen or vaginal septa are other possible causes. Please do not worry. Every problem has a cure and so, please follow your doctor's instructions. Wish you good health.
