What Causes Under Water Sensation In Ears After Taking Pus Out From Helix?
I discovered yesterday I have puss built on the helix of my right ear. It was red, swollen. I took the puss out and put some neosporin. This morning, it is less swollen but now I can feel as if it has water inside my ear and it is swollen inside and like under water sensation. All this for no reason at all. Not piercing, nothing. A week ago I had a mild throat infection/tonsils but gone away. I am pretty much a very healthy person. I don't get sick often and my last flu was over 7 years ago. I did have a shingles vaccine about 1.5 months ago. Please advise.
Tonsillitis/throat infection can cause blocked sensation of ear. The pus formed in the helix has no relation with blocked feeling .Inspection of ear by doctor helps to rule out wax, fluid in middle ear.Mean while start using chewing gums as this might help to drain any fluid in middlea ear.
