What Causes Transient Pain In The Right Quadrant?

One mo. ago I had a resection of my large intestine due to diverticulitis. An absess was found in the colon wall. Prior to this for one yr. I am having lower rt. transient pain in my lower rt. quadrant. It is mild to moderat. Since the surgery it is more frequent. What is this?

Hi,

I recommend the following

1. Ultrasound of the abdomen to evaluate for the abscess
2. Antibiotics might be needed if there is an underlying infection
3. Healthy eating habits
