What Causes Tingling Sensation After Walking?

Tingling sensation starts after walking approx. 100 meters and further walking has to be stopped.

The report of MRI of Lumbar Spine by a Consultant Radiologist done in Feb., 2011 :

The MR findings show spinal canal stenosis secondary to ligamentum flavum thickening, mild facetal arthropathy and diffuse posterior buldging of L2-3, L3-4 & L4-5 discs indenting thecal sac and nerve roots, changes are more marked at L2-3 level.

Posterior buldging of L1-2 disc indenting thecal sac and nerve roots.

Dr. has advised for surgery. I want to avoid it. Please advise.
