What Causes Thump In My Chest?

I am a 53 yr. old female, weight 150. Height 5'2". I feel a thump in my chest everyonce and a while with the urge to cough. It's concerning me. I feel it sitting up and also lying down. Is this normal? I am in menopause. I have not had a period in 5 years. I do not smoke, but I have a glass or white wine daily. No other spirits.

In my opinion there is nothing to worry. But for your satisfaction I would suggest you to go for chest x ray and get done respiratory examination by doctor. In menopause you feel so many different things but with time all will subside.
