What Causes Throbbing In Neck Vein When Cholesterol Levels Are Elevated?
My husband was taking the steps yesterday and noticed his neck vein was throbbing very hard. He is a 58 year old man, non smoker, social drinker slightly overweight but active. His cholesterol is slightly elevated so he's been working on eating better. He also commented that his legs felt extremely heavy. He's a critical care nurse in a surgical i.c.u. and for some reason medical people are the worst about following up to take care of themselves. Is this something that we should be concerned about?
It can be a case of poor blood circulation. He must consult a cardiologist and explain him the symptoms he's having. Heaviness in legs could be due to poor blood supply to the feet. Already his cholesterol level is elevated, he should be careful with his diet and should stay active to improve blood circulation.
