What Causes Throat Pain, Ear Pain And Hoarse Voice?
hi i am 55 years of age 5ft 1 and wiegh 13 stone . my brother died of throat cancer and just recently i have been having problems with my throat pain in my throat and into my ears but not continuously it comes and goes my voice keeps going croaky but again not continuously and occasionally i have trouble swallowing ... i also have been experiancing mouth ulcers and cold sores

As per your query you have symptoms of throat pain, ear pain and hoarse voice which is due to upper respiratory tract infection along with eustachian tube dysfunction.
Need not to worry about it. Visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation done. Go for otoscopic examination and start treatment accordingly. I would suggest you to
- Gargle warm saline rinses.
- Take diet rich in multivitamins.
- Avoid carbonated beverages and drink plenty of water as well.
- You should take the proper course of antibiotics along with anti-inflammatory medications as well.
