Hi,

First of all, you should measure your blood pressure and if it was high, you should receive the medical treatment, decrease salt and fat intake. Second, the women who take hormonal therapy for contraception or replacement therapy can suffer from migraine, so they should ask a gynecologist for help.

If you did not have hypertension or take hormonal therapy, you could have the Basilar migraine, which affects the Basilar artery in the brain. You can do an MRI brain an EEG for reassurance only.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mustafa, Neurologist
