What Causes Swelling Itching Feet And Splitting Skin Between Toes Inpite Of Wearing New Shoes?

So i have gotten a free pair of work shoes from my cousin. The past week after work. My feet have beem sweating more than normal. They are starting to smell like cheese. And the skin in between my toes is splitting. It doesnt burn or itch though. The ball of both my feet are white and feel raw. Is this fungus? Can i do anything without trashing the shoes? Or is this athletes foot?
