What Causes Stomach Pain?
hi my name is sam. I have suffered on and off since I was 18 with sharpe stabbing pains in my stomach. Sometimes I can get them up to 3 times a week and other timeS just once in a few months. When the pain starts I have to take pain killers and lie down. Since getting older my periods have become irregular and extremely heavy stoping me from working and other day to day activities. Could this all be connected some how? I would like you to see if you can shed some light on the subject for me. I really would like to know whaT the stomach pains are. thankyou

You are having irregular periods ...
So at such a young age hormonal profile has to be done to rule out hormonal balance. ..and treated accordingly ...
USG done to rule out if any ovarian cyst , fibroid if present ....
The stomach pain could be from ulcer like condition...
For which omeprazole capsule given ....
Avoid irritants like excess tea , coffe , smoking , non veg etc....
Cooked oatmeal good for soothing stomach....
If still pain not improving endoscopy and h.pylori testing needed.
