What Causes Stomach Pain And Bulge In Navel Area?

I'm a 41 year old man, Two days ago I bent down to grab a pot out if a lower cupboard and minutes later was in alot of pain in my stomache area I notice a bulge in my navel are that wasn't there before, I belive I have an umbilical hernia the bulge is about the size of a gumball, I have been in great pain since. I have fallen on rough time as much of country has, I have no Job or insurance now, I don't know what to do.... I have allways kept a job and had insurance until recently, should I go to my local county hospital?.

HI.
Do not worry.
Lie down in a bed.
Take a deep slow breath.
Push the hernia inside - slowly and you will be fine.
This is the best treatment if done within 6 hours,
Watch for abdominal symptoms of pain , vomiting, distension or so.
IF you could do this time , nothing is going to be serious.

But if the swelling is not reducible , you may have a bigger problem. And may need surgery. So try reduction now.
