The observation of the spotting after intercourse is mostly due to the urinary tract infection you are experiencing and not due to the medication. Also, you have to exclude infections of the vagina/cervix, erosions, polyps etc., through a proper assessment. Please avoid further sexual intercourse until the cause is identified and treated.
