What Causes Spotting During Sex While Taking Taxim-o And Citralka Liquid?

My age is 26yrs old. i m suffering From urine infection. my doctor prescribed me Taxim-o 200 twice a day & Citralka liquid three times in a day. but on the v first day after taking these medicines, during sex i noticed little blood coming out of my vagina and today is the second day i still noticed 2-3 drops of blood on my panty. Please help!!! Aarshita

Hello Ms.Aarshita,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. The observation of the spotting after intercourse is mostly due to the urinary tract infection you are experiencing and not due to the medication. Also, you have to exclude infections of the vagina/cervix, erosions, polyps etc., through a proper assessment. Please avoid further sexual intercourse until the cause is identified and treated. Maintain proper genital hygiene, adequate hydration and proper nutrition. Hope this helps.
