General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Sores on the skin are most likely to be herpes zoster infection. Physical examination can confirm the diagnosis. So please follow up with your primary provider. Initiating treatment with antiviral medications early can help with easy recovery and avoid complications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
