What Causes Sore Throat, Ear Pain And Cough?
I am living in Qatar.Woman of 45 years old.I have a bad throat for one week now.For 2 days I have persistant ear pain.I had cough for 4 days but now it is gone.I am afraid of throat cancer( do I ...?).pL. REPLY,&thankyou doctor.I dont smoke or drink&a vegetarian.No health problem,5feet.dont know weight.

Hello,
It may be due viral or bacterial infection with middle ear infection. until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine your throat and ear then treat you accordingly.
