What Causes Small Hole In Roof Of Mouth?

i am having a small hole in roof of mouth (left) since last one year.. consulted ENT specialist three times in equal interval during last one year. He opined that its just infection. nothing to worry and prescribed medicines : Augmentin 625, Painkiller and Vit.C... for 5 days.. But still the the hole exists.. sometimes paining around the area (left neck).. Dr. kindly suggest what to do...

HI. This may not a be a hole- just a swelling. This can be a foreign body reaction to a small object or a swelling from a minor salivary gland. If the medicines are not helping , you may please go ahead with excision to remove the hole and get it examined as biopsy.
