I went to a GI doc because I was having sharp/brief pain in the gallbladder area (this has happened sporadically for past 2 years) then I started getting odd bloating/full feeling in Dec with increased pain. Ultrasound showed gall bladder was fine (this was 3rd ultrasound), but liver was possibly slightly enlarged. My liver enzymes were slightly elevated-but next test came back normal and I don t have Hep C. Upon chatting with doc, she thought I might have acid reflux issues and gave me antacids-my symptoms actually got worse but it did help with what I had initially was wheezing at night (which is why she suspected acid reflux)-though now even that has returned. NOW I feel so full/bloated that it s actually hard to breathe or sit--after a meal or anytime really whether I ve eaten or not...I am so absolutely frustrated and feel that I m being made to do a food diary to see if something triggers it when anything triggers it and nothing too...it s just continuous. As a note, this started in Dec and I started with antacid meds just in Jan...and the breathing issues have been about 2 weeks now...so driving me mad and I m actually short of breath talking even at times...I talk talk talk to the doc and it s lets follow up in 6 weeks...6 weeks of trouble breathing or eating even? I m stunned...and work in the medical field myself...and I m just still stunned and not knowing what to do right now...
