What Causes Severe Nosebleed?

my husband had severe nosebleeds last summer and it just started again.I wondered if its because thats when he starts taking claritan or if its caused by something else.there are clots coming out of his nose after pinching for 5 min.he has tried longer but it keeps bleeding how do we stop them and what could be causing them?

Hello,

It may be due to dry nose.

For that, you can apply nasal saline drops locally.

Alternatively, you can use coconut oil locally.

Avoid hot and humid environment. Use humidifier.

During bleeding pinch nose for 10 minutes and never lie down.
