What causes right sideed abdominal pain after a colonoscopy?
I am a 52 year old female. I have just had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy (removed stomach polyps and biopsied gastritis). My serum iron is 37 and I have recently been having right side abdominal pain. I had an ultrasound done with showed gravel (sludge) in my gall bladder, along with a hepatocellular liver disease...what could be going on? And what does the low level serum iron mean?
hello madam , AS u told the ultrasound report shows sludge in gall bladder with liver disease . Sludge in the gall bladder itself is the cause of pain for you . If it causes continuous pain then u should undergo gall bladder removal surgery , but it all depends upon ur syptoms. Serum iron indicates ur hemoglobin % . thus its within normal limit , no need to worry regarding the same .
