What Causes Right Sided Abdominal Pain After Undergoing Hernia Surgery?

I have been having right side pain, I had 2 mri's and 2 ct scans and they found a bulging disk on L1 and L2 and ruptured cyst on right ovary and cyst on left ovary, but I have this discomfort on right side like cramping, and a dull ache I had fundoplication surgery, and gallbladder removed and hernia repair in 2004 was wondering if I could have adhesions from these surgeries.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As there is a past history of three surgeries, internal adhesions are a most likely cause for the same. In our clinic, we recommend diagnostic laparoscopy which is the gold standard of management as adhesiolysis can be managed at the same time if required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
