What Causes Redness And Itching Around The Burnt Wound?

i got burnt from a cake pan, happens all the time.... but this burn took place about 4 days ago and today i noticed a red circle around it... its not the rash that itches with red dots... this one is all red and hurts to the touch and is not itchy......
