What Causes Red Eyes, Fatigue, Gas, Diarrhea, Feverish After Diagnosed With Typhoid?

I was diagnosed with typhoid 8 weeks back, had antibiotics and fever subsided. However, I am still having red eyes, intermittent fatigue, gas & mild diarrhea with feverish feeling. The body seems warm to touch but temperature is in the range of 96 -97 Deg. F. What could be the reason?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of being diagnosed and treated for Typhoid 8 weeks back, antibiotics were taken and the fever subsided, but some problems continue like fatigue, gas, mild diarrhea and feeling feverish. Wants to know the reasons.
Since the diagnosis and treatment was proper the remaining symptoms does increase the doubts about incomplete treatment or recurrence of Typhoid and such as gastroenteritis due to weakened immunity.
I would advise you the following in such a situation.
Get the blood culture and sensitivity done as one can get a proper diagnosis and management.
Stool tests for three days to know better clue.
Add probiotics and long term proper antibiotic treatment.
Review regularly with the Doctor to get the clinical picture, to know the prognosis and to add any further treatment as may be needed.
Boiled and cooled water only.
Home made fresh foods.
Complete the courses religiously to get a cure.
Ultrasound of the abdomen or a CT scan to see if any changes diagnostic
importance come up.
