I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to postnasal drip. Causes of postnasal drip include infections, allergies, and acid reflux. Your symptoms are more related to an infection. I suggest using an anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest using a throat spray for antibacterial properties and gargle with salty water.
