I have been bleeding from the rectum for the last seven hours. The blood is bright red and has been consistent. It is not soaking the toilet paper, but there is some every time I apply toilet paper which has been every ten minutes or so. I have only defecated once today, and that was when I first noticed the bleeding, however, it must have been occurring prior because my boxer shorts were slightly stained.

I'm experiencing a negligible amount of pain, but that has been the case for the last four days. On Friday, I hurt my rectum while having a bowel movement, it felt as though there were a slight tear, but no bleeding until today. The pain at a 6/10 was the worst on Friday, and today I would say it is a 2/10.

I was sick on Saturday, extremely tired w/ diarrhea and did not want to eat anything. I do not know if that is (or could be) related. On Sunday I felt better, but would only drink Powerade and ate dry toast. I have felt fine today and have eaten as normal, prior to discovering the bleeding.
