What Causes Rash Break Out After Zyrtec And How Can It Be Treated?

I have had a rash on and off since a misscarriage in September.... I was put on steroids and then Zantac and Zyrtec.... I have been to allergists and now am on one Zyrtec a day... With occasional breakouts.... I also have had strep throat in the past couple of months and had antibiotics from that... Has anyone heard of a way to wean off Zyrtec? It seem every night when I try and only take a half a pill I have a breakout....any suggestions...

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
It appears that the rash is due to allergy to some thing, which you use daily. it may be the food, clothes, wool, cosmetics, soap, etc.
I advise you to make a list of things you use, and note daily which are used and which are not used, if one day you don't get itching, note, the thing you have not used.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms a combination of levocitrizine, and montelecast for a long time to get the cure.
alternatively i prescribe triamcinolone40mg injection, every fortnight.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
