What Causes Persistent Malaria Like Symptoms After Treatment?

Im based in Africa in rural area of Zambia
I feel persistent symptoms of malaria continously even just after finishing a malaria drug course Last week I was on Moda quine but Im still feeling malaria symptoms
Is this a kind/type of malaria?
What do I need to do?

I can understand your concern.
You seem to be suffering from either a drug resistant falciparum malaria or malaria caused by plasmodium vivax.
In case of drug resistant malaria, you need to take some new drugs like Artemisnins or Fansidar.
If the malaria is suspected to be due to Plasmodium vivax (which is responsible for the recurrent attacks due to dormant parasites in the liver which are not killed by routine drugs), then after finishing a course of Chloroquine or Artemisnins you must take a course of Primaquine for 14 days to eradicate the dormant types of malarial parasite which reside in the liver.
