What Causes Persistent Fever With Hair Loss And Chronic Fatigue?

My wife is currently running a fever for four days now. The highest 103. She has taken two doses of Yervoy. The last dose in September. We have been to Dr and the blood tests have come back normal. CBC was normal. Also her hair has been falling out and she has been experiencing no energy what so ever. They have tested her thyroid but those results have not come back yet. What can be causing the fever?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think she may be suffering from Hypothyroidism. I suppose that the thyroid hormone levels may be low. She needs to take levothyroxine. The fever may not be related to that. Possibly she may be having a flu, or viral infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
