What Causes Pelvic Pain During Pregnancy?

I'm around 8 weeks pregnant and I am experiencing pelvic pain mainly on my right side in the grind area. A few days ago after using the bathroom a glob of mucous mix with brownish dark red blood. The pain never let. I would say the pain is at a 7 very uncomfortable. Is this normal?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Pain and cramping in the lower abdomen are common in early pregnancy, however passage of mucus and brownish discharge is not normal.
It can be due to threatened or missed abortion, ectopic pregnancy or subchorionic hemorrhage.
I would suggest you to get a ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis and get further management accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
