What Causes Palpitations After Taking Zoloft?
Im on Zoloft 50 ml a day this is the 7th day. I take it for anxiety/panic disorder. It makes my heart race and very nervous. My doctor says hang in there it will get better. I took Zoloft before about 5 years ago for 3 years and it worked wonders. I don t remember having all these side effects

It is very unlikely be related to zoloft. Some people experience palpitation and increased head rates after taking Zoloft, which may be due to anxiety. You can wait for few hours to settle or check the sleeping pulse rate. If the heart rate is persistently high, an ECG may be taken to rule out cardiac arrhythmia.
