Hi. I'm a 29 yr old male, with no currently known health issues.
This morning, at a little past 5AM, I was woken up due to having pain on the sides of my back (the area roughly under the shoulder plates). Since I had been the the gym and worked my back 2 days prior, and had done some mild lifting the previous evening, I figured that it was just muscular pain. I tried stretching, but didn't help. I took a Tylenol with muscle relief, same.
I went back to bed and tried to get into a position that reduced the pain, but was unable. However, the pain just disappeared after about 45 mins.
Then, I suddenly had severe lower chest and stomach ache (roughly the area from the nipple-line to stomach). My mouth went dry and I had trouble breathing. For about 5 mins, I was unable to do anything.
After 5 mins, I could move enough to get dressed, as I was planning to go to the ER. I got dressed, and went to the kitchen to drink some water, since my mouth was very dry and rough. I also noticed a slight pins-and-needles effect in my left fore-arm (but not arm). Also, breaths were shallow.
And then, suddenly, the pain was gone. I could breath normally. And stretching gave no discomfort in any of the areas that were previously in pain.
I have no previously known health issues, don't smoke, and drink sparingly. I go to the gym about 3 times a week. I eat healthy and as varied as I can, rarely eating junk food such as McDonald's or frozen food. No known allergies other than cats, and I don't have any animals at home.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
