What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen During Pregnancy?

I am 34 weeks pregnant and I have gastritis like pain in my upper abdomen with redness in my throat. I had H pylori last year and it kind of feels like that again. I was fine almost the whole pregnancy until the third trimester, That’s when it all started again.

well, as you have a tendency towards gastritis proven by your earlier infection with H.pylori, the pregnant state with its stress can worsen it further. also the growing uterus now at 34 weeks can cause compression of stomach and hinder its complete expanse. so advise is :
1. to start having smaller and frequent meals say 4hrly rather than 8hrly meals.
2. take tab ranitidine 150mg twice a day for 7 days.
3.avoid oily , spicy food and of course fast foods.prefer curd and milk.
4 continue regular walking exercises and this should get better.
regards
