What Causes Pain In Perineum After Total Hysterectomy?
I had a total hysterectomy 15 years ago and have had chronic pain in the middle wall between the upper left vagina and rectum. I have been through all the tests for treating nerve damage with little effect. Was operated a second time to loosen what was thought to be adhesions at the scar site. Refused any future ops because I am totally adhered to the abdominal wall. Difficulty with bowel movements. Pain worst when sitting or lying. I am on rivotril, saratex, sheriproct supps and in the last two years tylenol with codein. Still have pain-irritation in the area which prevents sleeping without the aid of a sports massager on the lower spinal area. Is anything being overlooked_
