I took 1 or 2 mostly 1 .5 mg of attivan daily for a month. I havent taken in attivan in over a week. i have started to feel some numbness in my face. Is this a symptom of withdrawal from the attivan? Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Ativan (Lorazepam), an anti-anxiety drug can cause withdrawal syndrome like confusion, abnormal perception of movement, depersonalization, muscle twitching, psychosis, paranoid delusions, seizures but it does not cause facial numbness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
