What Causes Night Sweats, diarrhea And Fatigue?

Hi, I am female aged 61 years with a question regarding the thyroid gland. Recent testing has revealed Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies at 266.8 and 298 while Thyroglobulin Antibodies test resulted in 410.2. TSH remains within norm at 3.19. Free T3 was 3.9 within norm and Free T4 was 12.1. The specialist I saw will not treat a potential thyroid disease until TSH is affected and requested no follow up. All of my siblings are on medication for thyroid problems and mother had autoimmune disease arthritis. Symptoms include night sweats, diarrhea, fatigue. What should I do?

Hello!
I have carefully read your situation.
As you mentioned, you have family members who have autoimmune diseases and you are positive for thyroidal autoimmune disease.
The fact that the thyroid hormones level is within the normal ranges, excludes the thyroid as a cause of your symptoms. But in these cases an adrenal insufficiency should be checked.
The adrenal gland may be affected by an autoimmune process in persons who have predisposition for autoimmune diseases and as a result it produces low levels of the cortisol level.
