What Causes Nausea And Abdominal Cramps?

Hi. I had a miscarriage and D&C in march. In june the doc discovered a cyst. It was not big so surgery was not necessary. The doc prescribed postoval and fertomid. I've done the course of fertomid this month (Sep). I've been getting abdominal cramps for two weeks and I've been feeling nauseas. It is day 26 of my cycle. Do I need to worried about the cramps ? (it feels similar to menstrual cramps).... Could I be pregnant ? A home test shows negative. Please advise. Thank you...... T.S

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

This condition of your can be due to infection which is a common phenomenon after D and C procedure. I will suggest you to start a course of antibiotics Doxycycline for 5 days and also Amoxyclav for 5 days and Drotaverine tablets for cramping pain and a course of Pantoprazole for 5 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
