I am a 52 year old woman, and have a historyof having fibroids. recently, I found out from my Dr. that I have multiple fibroids, the largest being 8cm, then others at about 5cm, 3cm, 2.5cm.. .and multiple little ones. I have not had a period for over 9 years so, why would the fibrioids now start to "act up." I am going to have a hysterectomy, but the doctor found a cyst on my ovaries also. Stated he was a little concerned about it and did test to make sure it was not maliginant.
