What Causes Lump In Throat?

I am 55 years old and have feeling of lump in throat. I can tell I' m having some digestive issues. Feel like I. Need to belch but can't always do it! The first symptom was feeling like something on tongue and burning sensation in mouth after seeing oral surgeons hen Ent Nothing wrong with tongue or mouth. Then reg dr treated for acid reflux but while on treatment it went away for a few days now back. Also have the feeling of hunger in my stomache. I get relief while eating but comes back pretty shortly after I'm done.. Feels like things are slowly moving down. I'm currently waiting to get into my gastronoligist. And quit taking med since still having issues. I' leaving on cruise and worried since I feel like this! What might it be and what is best for me to do?
