What Causes Lower Abdominal Cramps And Vaginal Discharge?

I am still breastfeeding my 19 month old and have yet to have a period. I did have light spotting about 2 months ago, but nothing since. Currently, I have been experiencing a great amount of clear, watery, odorless discharge, slight constipation, and lower abdominal cramping throughout the day that s worse at night when lying down. I have taken a pregnancy test, but it came back negative. I m not sure what is causing my symptoms?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to us.

Your abdominal pain can be due to gas or constipation.
You should drink a lot of water, high fibre diet with lots of vegetables and fruits in it.
Your vaginal discharge seems to be normal cleaning process of vagina and may be your cycles are anovulatory.
You should consult your treating doctor for medication for withdrawal bleeding and use regular method of contraception to avoid pregnancy.
Good luck.
Regards
